The Anthropic-Pentagon Dispute

The immediate trigger for nationalization fears is the escalating conflict between AI company Anthropic and the Department of Defense. The dispute, which involves disagreements over military applications of AI technology, has become a proxy battle for the broader question of who controls AI development and deployment in the United States.
